About the Olive Tree Initiative at UCLA

The Olive Tree Initiative (OTI) is a university based organization challenging students to look beyond sound bites and stereotypes in order to understand the complexities of global conflicts through experiential learning.

The two OTI branches at UCLA, Palestine-Israel and Turkey-Armenia, hold their own meetings and events.  Every summer, students have the opportunity to travel to the region and analyze the conflict by meeting with high-ranking officials and civil society members.
